She put a modern (family) twist on menswear.
Sofia Vergara is once again giving menswear the It girl treatment. As she stepped out to dinner in New York City with friends on Friday night, the Modern Family star showed off her curves in two very different silhouettes. In addition to wearing one of her signature, figure-hugging sartorial favorites, Vergara played with contrasts by donning a pair of ultra wide leg leather pants that everyone will want in their closet this fall.
The Griselda actress’s oversized leather pants featured a baggy fit throughout her legs and a low-rise ruched elastic waistline that gave the statement piece a more casual, sweatpants-esque silhouette that leaned into the street style aesthetic. To offset the roominess of the leather slacks, Vergara paired it with a form-fitting strapless black bustier corset top with a sweetheart neckline.
As the Colombian star headed to Zero Bond with a group of friends, she beat the fall chill by covering her shoulders with office-ready outerwear: A black and white pinstriped blazer that she styled by draping it casually over her shoulders. Vergara broke up the monochrome hues of her all-black outfit with a burgundy leather YSL clutch bag, quilted black heels with white stitching that peeped out from under her wide-leg slacks, and some statement jewelry. The actress added some major sparkle to her look with giant diamond stud earrings, a gold bracelet on her left wrist, and stacks of rhinestone-encrusted bracelets on her right.
Vergara opted for her go-to beauty look, wearing her caramel hair in a sleek and straight middle-parted style. A subtle smokey eyeshadow, a rose-hued flush, and peach lipstick added the finishing touches to the star’s Friday night out look.
