A whole new meaning to nap dress.
These days, Saoirse Ronan is a fashion girl. Since partnering with stylist Danielle Goldberg earlier this year, she has earned the title with a series of cutting-edge looks: a slinky white turtleneck gown with punk grommet belts, an effortless office siren-inspired shirt and pants look, and a deep blue textured Erdem gown with a sheer cape. Now, her latest look is a pale pink organza funnel dress that can only be described as a couture sleeping bag.
She rocked the unexpected, high fashion look while reuniting with three-time co-star Timothée Chalamet at Vanity Fair’s Reunited Live at London’s BFI. The puffy dress, from Khaite’s Spring 2025 collection, was made with a sheer textured organza and featured a high neck, a single shoulder, and a draping asymmetric skirt. She wore the dress with a long silky black fabric skirt and open-toed black sandals, in a similar styling to the original runway presentation.
Ronan wore her hair in a messy, center-parted low bun and completed the look with a pair of drop pearl earrings.
During the event, Ronan and Chalamet reminisced about two of their joint projects, Lady Bird and Little Women, both of which were directed by Greta Gerwig. “I’ve not really had an experience acting with anyone else as I have done with you, where it’s an energy that I’m not used to, whether it’s on set or in real life, and it really keeps me awake and alert and it keeps me very creative,” said Ronan of their creative spark. “So there’s a real sort of aliveness, I think, when I work with Timothée.”
Meanwhile, Chalamet recalled being blown away by Ronan the moment he met her on the set of Lady Bird. "Saoirse continues to be a legend, but already she was a legend then," he said. "I was just blown away immediately just by her level of talent."
The pair may not have collaborated this year, but both have remained busy. While Chalamet starred in Dune 2 and the upcoming Bob Dylan biopic, A Complete Unknown, Ronan has two projects of her own: The Outrun and Steve McQueen's Blitz.
