The 2025 awards season is officially in full swing, with the Golden Globes and the Grammys bringing A-listers out for evenings of iconic looks and celebratory vibes over the last few weeks. For the latest big awards show–the 30th annual Critics’ Choice Awards, which honors the best of the best in filmmaking and TV programming in 2024–on Friday, February 7, Hollywood turned out in full force with a dazzling display of elegant red carpet looks from nominated stars like Zendaya, Demi Moore, Angelina Jolie, Ariana Grande, and Cynthia Erivo.

Conclave and Wicked led this year’s Critics’ Choice Awards nominees with 11 nominations each, while Shōgun dominated in the TV category with six nominations. With all the star power up for awards this year, comedian Chelsea Handler will host the 2025 Critics' Choice Awards for the third year in a row as the glitterati descended on the Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport in Los Angeles. 

Friday evening’s show, which was rescheduled twice due to the devastating California wildfires, is the perfect opportunity for a sartorial showing, as many celebrities that were nominated at the Golden Globes will also make a repeat appearance. Historically, the Critics’ Choice Awards are the most accurate predictor of the Oscars, and stars like Erivo, Jolie, and Moore are all up for Best Actress. Grande, Margaret Qualley, and Zoe Saldaña were nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category, while Timothée Chalamet, Hugh Grant, and Adrian Brody were a few of the Best Actor nominees. Meanwhile, fans can expect to see stars like Chase Stokes, Ewan McGregor, Kristen Bell, Michelle Yeoh, and Kate Hudson present awards at this year’s ceremony.

Ethan Slater

Slater walked the Critics' Choice Awards red carpet without girlfriend and 'Wicked' co-star Ariana Grande, who is nominated for Best Supporting Actress at this year's show. The actor paired a white dress shirt with shiny patent leather shoes and a a dapper slate gray suit accented with black lapels and buttons.

Jackie Tohn

Tohn, who stars as Esther Roklov in Netflix's Nobody Wants This, put a sheer twist on Greek goddess dressing on the Critics' Choice Awards red carpet. The actress's metallic gold halterneck gown featured a plunging neckline with a see-through iridescent gold skirt and a silk gold tie that cinched in her waist.

Joey King

The Kissing Booth actress leaned into a deconstructed style moment with coquette details on the Critics' Choice Awards red carpet. King showed off a cream and light blue dress with sheer paneling on the corset bodice and black accents on top. Meanwhile, her skirt was decorated with ruffles and a vintage-style bow in front. A diamond tennis necklace, diamond stud earrings, cocktail rings, and a silver watched added some sparkle to her look.

Chase Stokes

The Outer Banks actor, who's presenting at this year's Critics Choice Awards, looked stylish in a dark gray suit paired with a red striped dress shirt and a navy blue tie on the red carpet.

Zoë Saldana, who is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Emilia Pérez, brought some fiery color to the Critics Choice red carpet in a silk crimson gown with a draped boatneck bodice and an open back. Wearing her dark hair in a sleek ponytail, Saldana showed off a statement black choker necklace.

Sarah Michelle Gellar

The Han alum walked the red carpet in a strapless LBD embellished with a giant rosette on the bodice. A black clutch with a crystal buckle, silver hoop earrings, and a low updo with face-framing pieces finished her Critics Choice Award look.

Chelsea Handler

The Substance actress, who's nominated in the Best Actress category, brought the drama to the Critics Choice Awards' red carpet in a black gown with a deconstructed fringed skirt and a bustier top featured sequined cups with an ornamental piece on the top–a design that was mirrored by her silver ball-embellished strappy black pumps.
