The 2025 awards season is officially in full swing, with the Golden Globes and the Grammys bringing A-listers out for evenings of iconic looks and celebratory vibes over the last few weeks. For the latest big awards show–the 30th annual Critics’ Choice Awards, which honors the best of the best in filmmaking and TV programming in 2024–on Friday, February 7, Hollywood turned out in full force with a dazzling display of elegant red carpet looks from nominated stars like Zendaya, Demi Moore, Angelina Jolie, Ariana Grande, and Cynthia Erivo.
Conclave and Wicked led this year’s Critics’ Choice Awards nominees with 11 nominations each, while Shōgun dominated in the TV category with six nominations. With all the star power up for awards this year, comedian Chelsea Handler will host the 2025 Critics' Choice Awards for the third year in a row as the glitterati descended on the Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport in Los Angeles.
Friday evening’s show, which was rescheduled twice due to the devastating California wildfires, is the perfect opportunity for a sartorial showing, as many celebrities that were nominated at the Golden Globes will also make a repeat appearance. Historically, the Critics’ Choice Awards are the most accurate predictor of the Oscars, and stars like Erivo, Jolie, and Moore are all up for Best Actress. Grande, Margaret Qualley, and Zoe Saldaña were nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category, while Timothée Chalamet, Hugh Grant, and Adrian Brody were a few of the Best Actor nominees. Meanwhile, fans can expect to see stars like Chase Stokes, Ewan McGregor, Kristen Bell, Michelle Yeoh, and Kate Hudson present awards at this year’s ceremony.

Slater walked the Critics' Choice Awards red carpet without girlfriend and 'Wicked' co-star Ariana Grande, who is nominated for Best Supporting Actress at this year's show. The actor paired a white dress shirt with shiny patent leather shoes and a a dapper slate gray suit accented with black lapels and buttons.

Tohn, who stars as Esther Roklov in Netflix's Nobody Wants This, put a sheer twist on Greek goddess dressing on the Critics' Choice Awards red carpet. The actress's metallic gold halterneck gown featured a plunging neckline with a see-through iridescent gold skirt and a silk gold tie that cinched in her waist.
Joey King
The Kissing Booth actress leaned into a deconstructed style moment with coquette details on the Critics' Choice Awards red carpet.
