Carrie Bradshaw meets Wednesday Addams.
Spooky season is officially here—and Sarah Jessica Parker's latest look is proof that this fall is all about embracing your inner goth.
While attending The Golden Heart Awards benefiting God's Love We Deliver at The Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine in New York City, Parker steered clear of Carrie Bradshaw's signature wacky, colorful fashions, and instead opted for a look that was classic, chic, and even a little spooky.
The actor wore a black lace dress with with a glamorous flowing skirt and a dramatic plunging neckline that reached almost all the way to her belly button. The body of the dress featured an intricate black lace pattern atop a nude background, giving the illusion of a sheer fabric, while the lace sleeves featured a larger floral design.
Parker styled the dress with a thick black and silver belt and a silver rhinestone covered handbag. She wore sparkly silver statement earrings, an array of complimentary rings, a pair of Gianvito Rossi mules, and swept her hair back in a slick low bun with a deep side part.
Parker took a break from filming the upcoming season of And Just Like That to attend the Golden Heart Awards. Earlier in the day, she was spotted filming on the streets of New York in a classic Carrie look—a bright pink shirt dress with a slightly eccentric knot detail on the skirt.
In recent months, we’ve had a preview of a few other upcoming Carrie looks. In May, she was seen filming in a sheer nude tulle gown. Then, in August, she wore a powder blue ballgown with a distressed tulle hem.
