The 'RHONY' star put a sexy, flirty spin on Black Swan-core.
Brynn Whitfield knows how to have a good time. Be it another fancy dinner at Sant Ambroeus, a glamorous red carpet, or a sun-kissed yacht excursion, the corporate communications and marketing extraordinaire is the life of every party. And this week, she brought her bubbly vibes, perpetually perfect brunette lob, and flirty jokes (it’s truly not a Brynn Whitfield outing if she hasn’t made at least one quip about snatching your dad) to the prestigious New York City Ballet.
As some of the world’s best dancers were getting ready to pliĂ© and pirouette, the expert party-goer was staking out Lincoln Center’s David H. Koch Theater to deliver helpful advice to her 548,000 Instagram followers. “Pro-tip: Arrive early to the dinner portion of the evening and swap place cards to sit next to your crush🤞🏽🍽️,” she captioned a video of herself looking as fabulous as ever.
Just like her personality on The Real Housewives of New York City, Whitfield's style is eclectic and always fun. She likes to mix things up—sometimes she's preppy, sometimes she's sexy, occasionally she's nerdy, and other times she's sporty. At this year's gala, the most eligible bachelorette was feeling naughty: she gave serious black swan energy in a stunning semi-sheer black ballgown, glossy black stilettos, and a geometric Emm Kuo clutch. "I attended an event yesterday where I wore all-white. So yesterday I was an angel, and today I wanted to be a devil," the socialite cheekily teased.
While Whitfield is no stranger to sharing her life on social media or on TV, she kept her getting-ready routine exclusive for InStyle. Read ahead for a behind-the-scenes look at how Whitfield got all dolled up for the NYC Ballet.

Why She Loves the NYC Ballet
"There is nothing that I don't love about the New York City Ballet. I love the costumes. I love the choreography. I follow multiple of the dancers on Instagram, and I just appreciate and respect the history so, so much."
Her Personal Style
"Always changing. Sometimes I'm preppy, some days I'm sexy, some days I'm nerdy, other days I'm sporty. I'm just all the Spice Girls."
Today's Look
"Well, I attended an event yesterday where I wore all-white. So yesterday I was an angel, and today I wanted to be a devil."
Her Favorite Part About the Look
"I’d say the fact that my boobs are about to pop out! No really, my favorite aspect is the train. I love a poofy train, and I love a big skirt."
The Accessories
"I'm obsessed with my earrings by Alexis Bittar. They're fun, clear, and just jazz the look up a little."
The Glam
"Well, my regular makeup artist couldn't do it for me. So, my best friend Emma did my makeup, who's actually on the chair here, and I'm her guest! And the amazing Coco McHugh did my hair."
Her Getting-Ready Playlist
"I actually have a Spotify playlist called 'Getting Ready/Putting on Makeup.' I have a Spotify playlist for everything. It just sets the mood and makes everything more fun."
The Gala in Three Words
"Three words…Beautiful. Inspiring. Colorful."
Her Favorite Part of the Night
"Honestly, there's a lot of cuties. No, haha! The choreography and the costumes—it just makes the whole night feel colorful and alive."
