Winter is coming.
It might technically be fall still, but celebrities have already made it clear that winter whites will be on every moodboard this year. Stars like Blake Lively (and her Michael Kors blazer-and-skirt OOTN at the CFDA awards) and Jennifer Lopez (with her Y2K rom-com knit dress) have already made a case for the trend. Now, Pamela Anderson is sharing her take on the snowy fad that is sure to be everywhere this coming season.
On Thursday, the actress and model attended a Film Independent special screening of her upcoming film The Last Showgirl in a workwear-style twist on the winter trend. The star wore a silk button-up blouse tucked into a pair of high-waisted, wide-leg trousers that puddled at her feet, barely revealing matching pointed-toe pumps.
She kept her accessories to minimum with dainty diamond stud earrings and styled her blonde hair in a low ponytail with face-framing strands. She also opted for her go-to glam: a fresh, bare-faced look that highlighted her dewy, natural complexion.
The actress and model has become known for ditching makeup on the red carpet, saying that she has nothing “nothing against makeup, but I felt like it just looked better on me in my 20s than it did now.”
“You’re going to hit a crossroads in your 50s, and you go, ‘Am I going to chase youth? Am I going to be miserable? Or am I going to be self-accepting?'” she said in an interview with Glamour. “And it’s a practice. And it’s hard to say that you’re attempting all this if you’re still doing the red carpets and the covers of magazines plastered in makeup.”
She added that at this point in her life, she has embraced her "scars" and "imperfections." “This process is really empowering," she said. "I know it seems a little bit crazy. I’m also trying to find myself and who I am, kind of, underneath it all and trying to peel back the layers."
