Sally Albright, is that you?
Meg Ryan Fall is officially upon us—and the queen herself just ushered in cozy season in the most—well—Meg Ryan-coded outfit ever.
For a few years now, the internet has embraced the onset of fall by paying sartorial homage to Ryan's delightfully chic autumnal looks from her appearances in Nora Ephron's iconic rom-coms of the '80s and '90s—namely, Sleepless in Seattle, When Harry Met Sally, and You've Got Mail. There's something about the Ephron-Ryan dynamic duo that captures the spirit of fall—the crispness in the air, the orange leaves on the streets of the Upper West Side, the sound of the Cranberries' "Dreams" in the distance. Oh, and the clothes. Meg Ryan Fall would simply not be complete without the thick, cozy knits, slouchy trousers, menswear-inspired blazers, button-up shirts, and, of course, hats.
Naturally, Meg Ryan knows all of this. So, it’s no wonder that she pulled together the perfect autumnal outfit while stepping out for the Loewe Paris Womenswear Spring-Summer 2025 show during Paris Fashion Week.
Ryan's retro look, which included a yellow button-up shirt printed with a green vine-like pattern and slouchy grey trousers, harkened back to her iconic films of the '80s and '90s. She finished off the ensemble with an extra long navy blazer. A pair of black heeled boots, gold wire sunglasses, and a pale gray fabric clutch accessorized the look. Her signature blonde hair was styled in a tousled wavy lob with a side part.
Ryan has always had a talent for throwing together a timeless, cozy outfit for fall. Last September, for instance, she donned a super simple black midi dress and then in October, she rocked a black maxi skirt paired with a brown blazer and white shirt.
