A work of art.
Jennifer Lopez made an appearance at the 2025 Grammys on Sunday evening in a dramatic look that absolutely screamed awards season.
Her sculptural maxi skirt was a Stephane Rolland creation. Made from a sheer, shimmery, golden material that revealed her bare legs, it featured a giant, abstract sculptural design around her hips. She paired the theatrical piece with a simple cropped black turtleneck, which she wore with a pair of black gloves. She carried a sparkly gold clutch, wore matching platform sandals, and wore her hair, styled by Chris Appletown, simply: straight down around her shoulders.
Lopez was a surprise presenter at the award ceremony, taking to the stage to present Shakira with the award for Best Latin Pop Album. Lopez skipped the red carpet and entered the ceremony quietly, sitting next to her longtime manager, Benny Medina.
Lopez posted a picture of her look on Instagram, writing simply, “Hola Grammys.”
Lopez attended Clive Davis’s Pre-Grammy Gala & Grammy Salute to Industry Icons on Saturday evening, opting for a more colorful ensemble, wearing a plunging LaPointe halter gown in a deep, reflective pink shade.
Lopez is not nominated for any awards at this year’s Grammys ceremony—her last nomination was for the song “Let’s Get Loud” for Best Dance Recording back in 2000. Lopez seems to have instead been focusing more on acting in recent years. Last year, she starred in the acclaimed sports drama Unstoppable, while her next project, Kiss of the Spider Woman, just had its first screenings at Sundance.
