The bump is bumping.
Jennifer Lawrence’s maternity style has two very distinct sides. By day, she’s wearing slouchy pants and cool-girl sneakers, but once nighttime hits, it’s all about the glamour.
Case in point? On Thursday, the actress attended the Los Angeles premiere of the upcoming documentary that she co-produced with Malala Yousafzai, Bread & Roses, and for the occasion, she opted for an elegant black gown that effortlessly skimmed her baby bump. The floor-length dress was actually a vintage find from Christian Lacroix's fall 2006 couture collection and featured an off-the-shoulder, sweetheart neckline, sheer sleeves, and a bejeweled brooch at the bust.
Accessorizing with only a pair of small silver earrings and a diamond ear cuff, J.Law's growing stomach, which she sweetly cradled while walking the red carpet, stole the show. Her blonde hair was worn down, straight, and tucked behind her ears, while the rest of her glam included a deep plum eye and glossy pink lips.
This isn’t the first time Lawrence—who is expecting her second child with husband Cooke Maroney— has dressed her bump for the red carpet. Last month, she attended the premiere of another one of her producing projects, Zurwaski V Texas, where she expertly blended style with comfort.
At the star-studded event, the soon-to-be mom of two wore a double-breasted white Dior midi dress that was styled off the shoulder on one side and finished off her look with a black leather belt worn above her belly and a pair of matching ballet flats.
