There was more skin showing than fabric.
Last night, the 39th annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony took place in Cleveland, Ohio, bringing out the only the best of the best musicians, and, of course, the best dressed. And lucky for us, Dua Lipa falls into both categories.
Not only did the pop star kick off the show with her resounding vocals while performing "Believe" alongside Cher (who was one of yesterday's inductees), but she also highlighted her style prowess in two jaw-dropping looks. First, she walked the red carpet in a black maxi skirt with a sparkly waistband and a matching sequined criss-cross halter top that showed off her toned midsection. She accessorized with black leather bracelets on each wrist that matched her inky manicure and a pair of flower-shaped diamond earrings.
Once inside the venue, Lipa changed into her second look of the night, which included a black leather halter-neck dress that was worthy of a rockstar. With more skin showing than fabric, the long dress featured two hip-high slits, leaving only two tiny of panels of material down the front and in the back. Each side was bedazzled with rows of silver crosses and crystal buttons.
A pair of glossy black knee-high boots and fishnet tights completed her outfit, while a deep pink lip, shimmery lids, and a sleek blowout rounded out her glam.
Over on her Instagram, Lipa paid tribute to the woman of the evening with a sweet photo and even sweeter caption. “An absolute honour to pay tribute last night to THE ICON & LEGEND @cher as she gets inducted into the @rockhall 🖤 (about bloody timeeee if you ask me) !!!!” she wrote alongside a snap of herself, Cher, and Zendaya. “Grateful beyond words to have shared the stage with @cher and @theroots to sing “Believe” 🫀🫀🫀 what a dream come true!!! ~PINCH ME PLEASE~.”
