And she's bringing back the most controversial denim wash.
Hot on the heels of Gisele Bündchen’s brand-new campaign for Zara, which saw her transform into a silver-screen icon, she’s swapping from the cinematic campaign to her usual M.O. of sun-soaked fashion and Brazilian fun with a new photoshoot for Colcci and Colcci Jeans. Today, the bombshell model shared a carousel of snapshots from the new Colcci drop, which showed her wearing tiny, bikini-cut denim shorts in bright summer-ready (remember, Brazil is south of the equator) white and a matching cropped jacket with huge, over-the-top puff sleeves and statement-making shoulders.
The lead photo shows Bündchen with her signature beach-waved hair and honey-blonde highlights blowing in an ocean breeze as she shows off the high-cut shorts and oversized topper. Other shots show her in a pair of low-rise acid-wash jeans and a matching crisscross denim halter. The throwback acid wash came back via a boxy jacket with a more traditional trucker cut. Bündchen rounded out the gallery with a few behind-the-scenes images from the session and close-up looks at the details of the denim pieces.
"O Rio de Janeiro continua lindo! Sempre tão bom poder voltar para a cidade maravilhosa. Não tem lugar melhor para fotografar @colccioficial @colccijeansoficial 🇧🇷☀️," she captioned the post, which translates to "Rio de Janeiro is still beautiful! Always great to be back in this wonderful city. There is no better place to take pictures @colccioficial @colccijeansoficial 🇧🇷☀️"
Bündchen's love for her home country is no secret. Earlier this year, she shared images from a visit to Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, which included huge sand dunes and crystal-clear waters. The most eye-catching shots may have been the images of her riding horses with friends and a dramatic sunset.
“❤️ I’ve always dreamed of visiting Lençóis Maranhenses,” Bündchen posted on Sunday, July 28. “Brazil is so beautiful!”
The National Parks website explains thatLençóis Maranhenses is the “largest field of sand dunes in South America.”
"Lençóis Maranhenses is one of the most striking destinations in Brazil," the site adds. "Some argue that it is only bested by Iguacu Falls along the border of Brazil and Argentina."
