Where the fashion fun is really had.
Last night, the 2025 Golden Globe Awards ended at 8:00 p.m. local time, but the evening had only just begun for the stars who headed to the many, many after-parties celebrating this year’s winners. And while most of the nominees played it relatively safe on the red carpet—with Sofia Vergara wearing a sparkly black gown in her signature mermaid silhouette and Zoë Kravitz in yet another LBD from Saint Laurent—once the award show ended, that’s when the fashion fun was really had.
Letting their hair down at the after-parties (for some, quite literally), Elle Fanning swapped her dramatic Balmain ballgown for a leopard print silk slip dress, while her sister Dakota opted for a black dress with a plunging neckline and a thigh-high slit. But perhaps one of our favorite outfit changes of the night came courtesy of Shōgun winner Anna Sawai, who went from a strapless two-piece column gown from Dior to a shimmering metallic gown, which perfectly matched her newly won award for Best Performance by an Actress In A Television Series—Drama.
From archival looks to brand-new ballgowns, check out the best post-Golden Globes fashion below.
Zoe Saldaña
After beating out her co-star Selena Gomez for Best Supporting Actress in a drama, Émilia Perez actress Zoe Saldaña celebrated her first-ever Golden Globe win by slipping into a halter-neck lace dress for the after-party.
Jesse Eisenberg, Dakota Fanning, and Elle Fanning
Sister duo Dakota and Elle Fanning started off the night strong in looks from Tony Ward and Balmain, respectively. For the after-party, both actresses ditched their formal gowns in favor of silky slip dresses complete with thigh-high slits. Elle’s in particular continued the leopard print trend while Dakota went from red to black.
Anna Sawai
Sawai had plenty to celebrate last night as she won the Globe for her role as Toda Mariko in Shōgun. After stunning in a white Dior column gown (complete with Cartier jewels) on the red carpet, the actress picked a shimmering metallic number to celebrate her win after-hours.
Emma Stone
Emma Stone’s custom Louis Vuitton gown was so good, she kept it on for the after-party. Perhaps most head-turning, however, was her brand-new pixie cut.
Paris Jackson
Paris Jackson went for a long-sleeve take on the naked dress trend at Jas Mathur and Michael Braun’s Golden Globes afterparty. She paired the sheer look with matching fishnet tights and a mini Celine bag.
Quinta Brunson
Abbott Elementary creator Quinta Brunson ditched her long Roberto Cavalli gown for a mini strapless number at her second afterparty. The look was absolutely dazzling thanks to hundreds of tiny jewel embellishments.
Kate Beckinsale
Continuing with her newfound love of balletcore pink, Kate Beckinsale stepped out in a strapless pink and black gown complete a oversized black bow. The cherry on top? Her dramatic opera gloves, which added the perfect amount of opulence to the Golden Globes red carpet this year.
Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco
Newly engaged lovebirds Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco stopped by the Netflix afterparty in two monochromatic looks: white for Blanco, and all-black for Gomez. It was a chic switch-up for the Émilia Perez actress, who wore an Old Hollywood-style baby blue Prada gown earlier in the night.
Mikey Madison
Breakout Anora actress Mikey Madison donned a simple black dress for the UTA afterparty after sporting a gold Bottega Veneta gown on the red carpet.
