Demi Moore is revamping a casual summer style piece for a fall red carpet. While the Substance actress is equally at home in a slinky gown as a menswear-inspired power suit, she made a convincing case for fall denim as she stepped out at the Hamptons International Film Festival on October 13. Accompanied by her micro chihuahua, Pilaf, Moore made a jean skirt look surprisingly elegant–and perfect for autumn–while posing for photos.
The Ghost alum has been leaning into her inner style chameleon while promoting her horror film The Substance, and Monday was no different. The star leaned into grayscale hues with a slate denim skirt, which looked perfect for the season thanks to its moody color palette, midi-length cut, and a flared silhouette at the bottom. In addition to its fabric–a material normally worn in the summer–the skirt’s distressed unfinished hem and paneled design added a slightly casual note to the statement piece.
Other than the denim skirt, Moore went completely monochromatic with a plunging black lace blazer featuring subtle shoulder pads and pockets in the front, as well as black pointy-toed satin pumps that were accented by a delicate ankle strap. She added some major sparkle to her look with giant diamond drop earrings, a stack of intricate gold bracelets, and a gold necklace with a statement megawatt diamond pendant.
The actress leaned into her signature beauty look for her red carpet appearance, styling her sleek black hair in a straight, middle-parted style. A matte berry lip, subtly smokey eyeshadow, and sculpted cheeks firmly took her look into autumn territory.
Just a few days earlier on October 10, Moore made an appearance in another office-ready look while attending the GFS Fall Benefit 2024. She showed off her penchant for revamped menswear, pairing wide-legged black slacks with a unique black blazer top that flared out at the bottom in a peplum-inspired design. Moore accessorized her power suit with a white button up shirt with a crisp collar, large tortoiseshell glasses, and black heels with a deep v-cut design in front.
