So nice she did it twice.
Zendaya has had too many iconic fashion moments to count over the past five years—from her Mugler robot suit to her entire Challengers press tour tenniscore wardrobe. So, you couldn’t expect her to wear just one look at the 2025 Golden Globes, now could you?
After serving on the red carpet in a rust orange gown with a voluminous panel train, the actress, who received a nod for her role of Tashi Duncan in Challengers, changed into a plunging, halter slip dress. The slinky gown featured a brocade paisley pattern made of ornate bronze, white, and pink beading. She kept her hair styled in the same wavy bob she debuted earlier in the evening, though she ditched the giant diamond necklace she was spotted in on the carpet.
She showed off her costume change while posing with fellow nominee and star of The Bear, Ayo Edebiri, who channeled Julia Roberts in a gray slouchy suit.
Also on the red carpet, Zendaya put her expert posing skills to use showing off her custom Louis Vuitton sweetheart neckline dress, which had a structural train that wrapped around her sides to create a ballgown-like silhouette. Her Old Hollywood-inspired curly bob complemented her glamorous gown, though it was her jewelry that perhaps made the biggest statement.
In addition to her megawatt diamond choker, Zendaya wore a sparkler on that finger, igniting engagement rumors. Zendaya and her former Spider-Man: No Way Home co-star Tom Holland have been dating for years, though they keep their relationship fairly private, which, explains why the actor did not join her on tonight’s red carpet. He was spotted, however, inside the ceremony to quietly support Zendaya from afar.
During a recent interview with Men’s Health, Holland explained why he and Zendaya don’t attend public appearances together. Holland said that he chooses not to walk the red carpet with his girlfriend during premieres or awards shows “because it’s not my moment, it’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us.”
InStyle has reached out to representatives for Zendaya and Tom Holland for comment, but did not hear back by the time of publication.
