Timmy's apparently a tiny purse guy now.
It’s no secret that Timothée Chalamet is a big fashion fan. From the bejeweled harness he wore to the 2019 Golden Globes to his backless Haider Ackerman jumpsuit at the premiere of his 2022 film Bones of All, the actor takes his style just as seriously as his art. And now, apparently, he’s adding designer purses—tiny ones, that is—into the mix.
This week, Chalamet was spotted signing autographs outside his hotel in Paris in one of his most confusing outfits to date. Pairing an NFL Raiders jacket with a black New York City Ballet baseball cap and low-rise True Religion jeans, he finished off his look with a tiny quilted denim Chanel purse that delicately hung from his shoulder.
The itty-bitty bag is so small, it’s not even big enough to hold an iPhone, which led fans to believe that the mini purse actually belonged to his girlfriend Kylie Jenner’s 6-year-old daughter Stormi Webster. Over the years, Stormi has accumulated quite the collection of baby handbags—including a red mini Chanel flap bag, an Hermès Kelly backpack, and an array of Prada nylon purses.
“Babe that is Stormi’s purse,” one fan joked after seeing the size of Chalamet's bag, while another added, “Not Stormi already giving Timmy her hand-me-downs 😩😩😖😖.”
The next day, Chalamet was photographed in Rome wearing yet another bag—this time, in adult proportions. While exploring the Italian city on double-decker bus, he wore a green space-dye sweater with a pair of light-wash jeans cinched with a floral belt across his waist and accessorized with a brown suede crossbody handbag that was the perfect size for stashing possible "thank you" gifts for Stormi.
