Sydney Sweeney has been catching some of the last days of summer in style. The Anyone But You actor took to her Instagram Stories today to share a snap from a sunny boat trip. Sweeney, behind the wheel of the boat, wore a navy one-piece, with a fully covered front section and a skin-baring backless design. Two straps and a thong held the swimsuit in place. A cute pink tassel added some color on the hip. Sweeney paired the swimsuit with a dark brown straw sun hat with a matching navy ribbon.
Sweeney posted a video yesterday in which she applied some Armani beauty products, showcasing the front of the swimsuit, which featured a low V-neck.
Elsewhere in Sweeney’s stories, she revealed that she had taken her dog, Tank, out on the lake with her. Sweeney has recently been unwinding at the lake. Last week, she posted an image of herself wearing a long-sleeved wetsuit, writing, “i think they call this a thirst trap.”
Sweeney grew up in a cabin on the lake in northern Idaho. Back in 2023, Sweeney posted a selfie from the lake, writing, “wish you knew lake syd.“
“[Lake Syd] is truly just who I am at the core, everything stripped away,” Sweeney previously toldWomen’s Health. “I wrote that caption because everyone with me was like, ‘Wow, really wish the world could see Lake Syd,’ because it’s just who I am.”
Sweeney also recently partnered with the footwear brand HEYDUDE and shot a lakeside promo video. “Fashion is a really fun way of embracing different sides of yourself. Some days, I might feel very girly, some days, I might feel edgy,” she said to People of the partnership. “Others, I might feel like I want to be more laid-back. It’s a way of being able to express those different sides of how I feel or who I am.”
