The necklace will make an appearance in her upcoming Netflix show.
Meghan Markle keeps her wardrobe effortlessly chic—hers is a look book filled with pristine monochromatic looks that exude elegance. And while she typically sticks to a simple, sleek formula with her clothes, she loves to embellish her looks with a delicate, carefully chosen accessories that are often sentimental. Her jewelry collection includes a classic diamond tennis necklace, a chic little pinky ring, a Cartier Tank Française watch that formerly belonged to Princess Diana, and a personalized pendant necklace bearing the names of her two children, Archie and Lilibet.
One of her pieces that makes an appearance in her upcoming Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, is another item that ticks all of Markle’s sartorial boxes—it’s dainty, classic, and super personal. The aptly named Queen Emerald Cut Emerald Cuban Choker by Logan Hollowell, which Markle first debuted in October 2023 at the Archewell Foundation’s Parents’ Summit in New York City, features a gold choker chain and a delicate emerald stone that rests at the throat, and costs $4,795.
"This classic stone of love and romance, is said to bring both passion, and unconditional love, bringing balance within relationships, as well as friendship," reads the website's description of the necklace. "In the event of heartbreak, emerald is used to heal and put one back on the path to love."
Not only does the emerald symbolize "unconditional love" and "balance," it also just so happens to be her son's birthstone.
According UK retailer Steven Stone, a few other pieces from Markle’s collection are set to feature in the show, including a 14k Leo constellation ring, also by Logan Hollowell, a pair of gold-plated knot earrings from Anine Bing, and Markle’s favorite pinky ring.
Yesterday, Markle announced that the show—which is set to offer a glimpse into her life in Montecito—would be delayed from January until March 4 as a result of the devastating fires in California. “I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California,” she said in a statement.
Markle and her husband Prince Harry have reportedly volunteered to help victims and have opened their home to friends who have been forced to evacuate.
