It's giving changing leaves.
Just days ahead of the autumn equinox, Scarlett Johansson announced fall’s arrival in a gown that is perfect for the new season—take notes if you’re in search for a wedding guest dress or just looking for something to pair with boots. On Thursday, the actress arrived at the European premiere of her new animated film Transformers One in a rust-colored Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello dress.
The autumnal tulle gown featured an off-the-shoulder neckline, sheer long sleeves, and ruching along the torso and arms, and Johansson styled it with black heeled sandals, also Saint Laurent.
A dainty diamond choker, matching hoop earrings, and stacked rings accessorized the look, and her warm-toned glam complemented the dress. ScarJo opted for bronzey-orange eyeshadow and a russet-colored lip. Her shoulder-length blonde hair was styled in a deep side part and crimped waves.
The actress was joined on the red carpet by the animated film's director, Josh Cooley, and a few of her co-stars, including Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, and Keegan-Michael Key. Cooley had personally tapped Johansson to voice the role of Elita-1, which she said came as a surprise to her.
“It was such a great script. It had such cinematic qualities. It has so much heart. This film has so much heart,” she told CBS News. “It really has amazing messaging in there, and it’s really funny, too.”
When it came to voice acting, Johansson said she got pretty physical while recording in order to mimic the action happening on-screen.
"You're squatting and punching and running in place…it's just really very physical, but it brings the action to life," she said.
Transformers One hits theaters on Friday, September 20.
