Boudoir dressing at its best.
Kim Kardashian took her lingerie beyond the boudoir and onto the red carpet at the Fourth Annual Academy Museum Gala. On Saturday, Kardashian attended the annual charity benefit in her signature body-skimming style, opting not to wear a dress, and instead, highlight what’s typically worn underneath.
For the occasion, the SKIMs founder dug into the Thierry Mugler archives and chose a look from the legendary designer's spring 1998 couture collection. Going completely pantless at the event, Kardashian wore a bone-white corset with a plunging neckline and a pair of matching briefs that were so short, they were barely visible. She topped off her lingerie look with a dramatic floor-length silk robe—which was styled off the shoulder and featured a hood—as well as a set of nude stockings and PVC heels.
Accessory-wise, the reality star sported 30 carats worth of diamonds from Tiffany & Co.—including a giant statement necklace with a pink diamond pendant in the center. As for glam, Kardashian wore her dark hair in Old Hollywood waves swept to the side and added a swipe of pink blush to her cheeks and nude lipstick.
This isn’t the first time Kardashian has worn one of Mugler’s waist-snatching creations. Back in 2019, the mom of four showed up to the Met Gala in a crystal-dripping dress with a corseted bodysuit underneath that she said, “made it hard to breathe.” Of her look, she joked to Vogue: “If I don’t sit down for dinner, now you know why.”
