Princess Diana had her revenge dress after ending her relationship with then-Prince Charles, and now Jennifer Lopez has her own version of the revenge dress too—one that’s updated for the times and features tons of skin and cleavage.
The “Let’s Get Loud” singer shared a series of snaps to her Instagram page that featured her in a sexy and sleek black sequined dress by Mônot. In the front, the dress scooped up into a halter around the chest and features a large cutout that put her cleavage on display. The back, meanwhile, was nowhere to be found and dipped all the way down to Lopez’s backside and hips, and skimmed her waist for a snatched silhouette.
The actress went glam with the rest of her look, wearing a sleek black clutch and diamond jewelry. Up top, the 55-year-old went glam, wearing a soft smokey eye with nude lipstick. Her brunette hair was worn in loose curls with her bangs pinned neatly. In the images, Lopez looked fierce around the house, and prepared food in the dress. “MY FAVORITE PART about going out is coming home for the midnight snack,” she captioned the set of images.
The new images comes amid reports of Lopez doing her best to have a happy holiday season as she moves on from her relationship with Ben Affleck after filing for divorce.
In light of their breakup, People reported that the star is “focused on her own life” and is making the best of a difficult situation, with a source adding, “she has had a rough year but is doing well. She’s ready for Christmas and to start the new year fresh.”
