Just in the time for the Grammys.
Jennifer Lopez may have debuted some aprés ski-worthy winter whites on Sunday at the Sundance Film Festival, but just before she jetted off to Park City, Utah, the actress proved she clearly still has Brat summer on the brain.
On Friday, January 24, Lopez celebrated the 67th birthday of her manager, Benny Medina, at a dinner in Beverly Hills. For the special occasion, Lopez was spotted arriving at the restaurant, Novikov, while channeling her inner brat in a shimmery bright green dress with long peasant sleeves, a high neckline, and a leg slit down the center of the skirt. The frock also had an unexpected black leather collar around her neck, and she accessorized the look with PVC slip-on heels and diamond drop earrings. The electric green shade is a nod to Charli XCX’s album that took over pop culture this past summer. The recorded is nominated for eight awards at the 2025 Grammys on Sunday, February 2.
Her caramel hair was slicked back into a sleek bun that showed off her bronze glam look and smoky maroon eyeshadow.
The same weekend, Lopez was spotted at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, where she promoted her upcoming movie musical, Kiss of the Spider Woman. During a slew of interviews, Lopez went full snow bunny in an ivory jumpsuit paired with a matching cropped puffer vest, coordinating wedged boots, and a brown leather belt bag.
Later that evening, Lopez got on board with the method dressing trend—already beloved by stars including Margot Robbie, Zendaya, Ariana Grande, and Cynthia Erivo—and donned a sheer black lace dress with an ornate sparkly spider web design. The actress arrived at the premiere of the film in the on-theme Valdrin Sahiti gown accessorized with massive platform heels, a matching velvet clutch, and a couple bedazzled bauble rings.
After the screening, Lopez spoke about feeling called to play the role of Ingrid Luna. “I’ve been waiting for this moment my whole life,” she said to the audience, per Variety. “The reason I even wanted to be in this business is because my mom would sit me in front of the TV and [West Side Story] would come on once a year. I was mesmerized and was like, ‘That’s what I want to do.’ This is the first time I actually got to do it.”
"This man made my dream come true,” she added, referring to the film's director Bill Condon.
