She walked her first red carpet comfortably after confirming her second pregnancy.
Last night, Jennifer Lawrence offered a sneak peek at her maternity style while making her first red carpet appearance since confirming she’s pregnant with baby no. 2. At the 2024 AFI Festival for the premiere of her new documentary Zurwaski V Texas—which Lawrence co-produced with Hillary Clinton—she took a comfy yet chic approach to dressing her bump (and her feet).
For the occasion, the actress wore a double-breasted white Dior midi dress that was styled off the shoulder on one side. Accentuating her growing stomach, Lawrence cinched her waist with a black leather belt positioned just above her baby bump and between three rows of black buttons on her dress. Meanwhile, when it came time for shoes, like many moms-to-be, J.Law gave her stilettos a rest and slipped on a pair of pregnancy-friendly ballet flats (also in black) in their place.
She accessorized minimally and showed off her new pregnancy fringe, which complemented her tousled blonde waves and glowing complexion.
Over the weekend, Vogue confirmed that Lawrence was expecting her second child with husband, Cooke Maroney. The couple are already parents to a 2-year-old son named Cy, and Lawrence is apparently “thrilled to be pregnant again.”
"She loves being a mom," a source told People. "She's thrilled to be pregnant again. It feels like the perfect timing to her. Her son will be 3 when the new baby arrives." The insider also noted that her marriage to Maroney has never been better, adding: "She's very happy with Cooke. They are great together. He's super chill and it rubs off on her."
