Say that five times fast.
Dua Lipa may be soaking up the sights of Washington, D.C., but all I see is her leather trench coat in the color of the year. On Thursday, the pop star documented her trip to D.C. with a photo dump (in true Dua style) that gave Dua Lipa and fashion fans a close-up look at her perfect fall outfit.
In the roundup, Lipa wore a butter-yellow, ankle-length leather trench coat with a wide lapel, thick belt that only wrapped around her back, and seam detailing along the sleeves. The fashion aficionado styled the statement piece with a black button-up, light-wash boot-cut jeans, black chunky boots, and a matching quilted Chanel bag. She accessorized with a baseball cap that had a red bill, chunky gold hoops, and a smattering of rings.
Throughout the gallery, Lipa posed in front of famous landmarks, including the Washington Monument, and in one snap, she can be seen taking a photo of her friend, Elizabeth Miranda, with the Lincoln Memorial. A separate image captured Lipa and friend Liv Moss sitting on a bench together, while another slide featured a close-up look at her purse and pink-and-white manicure. In one video, Lipa mimed touching the top of the Washington Monument with her finger.
"Nightseeing the capital," Lipa wrote, referring to the fact that each photo was taken in the dark.
Just days before she was exploring the capital of the United States, Lipa documented a trip to London. In her photo gallery, Lipa showed off a slew of London looks, including a barely-there beaded shirt over a satin bra, an asymmetric layered skirt, and a red blazer worn without pants. “London crumbs,” she captioned the post, though, Lipa clearly left no crumbs.
