It's becoming one of her tried and true outfit formulas.
Like the true pop star that she is, Christina Aguilera never does anything basic. So when it comes to dressing up for the holidays, the 43-year-old is bound to put a sexy spin on the trend, and her latest daring outfit is no exception.
Aguilera attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for H&M’s renovated flagship store in Times Square in New York City on November 21, and was dressed for the occasion. The singer donned an all black velvet coat that extended all the way to the ground and wore a plain black shirt underneath it—but that’s where the basics stopped. She paired the black shirt with a pair of high-waisted gold lamé underwear, black sheer stockings, and thigh-high leather boots to complete the sexy look.
The holiday elements continued with the pop star’s choice of accessory for the evening—shiny mirrored silver hoops that glittered against camera flashes. For beauty, Aguilera wore a shimmering gold eyeshadow on her lids and was further dolled up in heavy, bedroom eyelashes, completing the look with a hot chocolate brown lip gloss on her lips and black nails with metallic gold decals that matched perfectly back to her ensemble for the ribbon cutting event.
Pantsless looks has been one of Aguilera’s go-tos in recent weeks. She wore a near copy of the outfit, ditching the jacket and swapping the gold underwear for a black pair while endorsing Kamala Harris for president.
During her performance, the vocalist sent a powerful message by singing several of her hit songs at the event, including "Fighter," "We Won't Forget," and "We'll Never Look Back."
