The 16-year-old looks just like his dad Brad Pitt.
While Angelina Jolie is known for having her kids as her red carpet dates, her 16-year-old son Knox rarely steps out into the spotlight—that is, until now. On Sunday, Jolie and Knox had a rare mother-son date night at the 2024 Governors Awards in Los Angeles, marking the teen’s first red carpet appearance in three years.
For the occasion, the duo showed up in style, with Jolie opting for a butter yellow gown that she selected from a local vintage shop, The Kit Vintage—according to Women’s Wear Daily. The dress featured a gold beaded bodice with a halter neckline that laced up from the back and effortlessly flowed into a semi-sheer skirt with mohair overlay. She piled on the diamonds with a giant pair of drop earrings, a geometric necklace, and a smattering of sparkly rings on both hands.
The Oscar-winner wore her blonde-highlighted hair in a half-up, half-down style with face-framing pieces in the front and finished off her glam with bronze eyeshadow and a swipe of petal-pink lipstick.
Meanwhile, Knox—who looks just like his dad, Brad Pitt, from his blue eyes to his buzz cut—escorted his mom at the event while dressed in a classic black tuxedo.
Despite having super-famous parents, Knox and his siblings actually prefer to stay out of the spotlight. “They’re especially shy, very private people,” Jolie told E! News of her six children at the AFI premiere of her new film Maria in Los Angeles, adding, “And they want to be private.”
But that doesn't mean that they won't be pursuing careers in the film industry. In fact, her two eldest sons, Maddox and Pax, helped assist director Pablo Larrain on Maria, while Knox's twin, Vivienne, served as a producer’s assistant on The Outsiders, which Jolie produced.
