Taylor Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour is officially over—and what better way to celebrate than by wearing an outfit that highlights each stage of your decades-long music career at your very own Eras-themed party? There isn’t, which is why Swift did exactly just that for her lavish birthday festivities in Kansas City.
Photos of the pop star's party surfaced online after fellow Chiefs WAG Brittany Mahomes posted several snapshots from the bash to her Instagram feed. And for the occasion, everyone dressed up as their favorite era, with Swift combining all her eras into one stylish look.
At first glance, the singer’s little black Balmain minidress with its halter neckline and silver sequins down the front—which retails for $4,290—might have seemed like an obvious callback to her Reputation era, but it also nodded to her 1989 album with its swingy skirt and knit material, and as one fan pointed out on X, she wore a similar LBD during her Fearless days while on tour.
Swift also appeared to wink at her Midnights album with her $36,000 diamond "Bejeweled" De Beers earrings, while her swept-back bun and bangs reminded us of the laid-back aesthetic of her Folklore and Evermore records.
As for her guests, Mahomes wore a glittery fringe jacket that resembled the finale jacket Swift sported on-stage during her Eras Tour. Meanwhile, Lyndsay Ball opted for a Lover-coded pink blazer that matched her lipstick.
Last year, Swift stepped out for her 34th birthday in New York City wearing yet another sparkly LBD. Many fans (us, included) thought it was a nod to her Midnights album given the celestial detailing, but little did we know that it was actually the first unofficial outfit of her Tortured Poets Department fashion era.
