Good style runs in the family.
After Nicole Kidman’s daughter Sunday Rose made her runway debut at the Miu Miu show during Paris Fashion Week, it was time for her younger sister Faith Margaret to step into the spotlight.
On Wednesday, the 13-year-old made a rare appearance alongside her famous mom at The Hollywood Reporter's annual Women In Entertainment Gala at The Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles, making it clear that she didn't just inherit Kidman's good looks, but also her impeccable style.
For the occasion, Faith mirrored her mom's ladies-who-lunch style in a white tweed jacket with black piping and a matching miniskirt, which she paired with sheer black stockings and Mary Jane pumps. She styled her chestnut hair in loose waves with a middle part and copied Kidman's signature soft glam with glowing skin, rosy cheeks, and a pink lip.
Kidman, for her part, wore a black midi-length dress with long sleeves and a blue collared shirt with ruffles underneath. She, too, accessorized with sheer black tights and added a pair of black kitten heels to her prim-and-proper outfit.
The Big Little Lies star shares her daughters Faith Margaret, 13, and Sunday Rose, 16, with her husband Keith Urban. She is also mom to daughter Bella, 31, and son Connor, 29, whom she shares with ex Tom Cruise.
At the gala, Kidman honored her late mother, Janelle Ann Kidman, who died in September, as well as Faith while accepting the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award. “I’m also going to say my daughter [Faith] is here. Last night, in the name of trying to do it all, I was at the choir concert watching her sing. We then got on a plane, and we came here and I started crying because my mama loved, she loved education,” Kidman said.
“Suddenly, it was three months down the track from losing her. But I’m seeing my daughter stand there with her whole future ahead of her. She’s getting on a plane coming with me, and she was my mentor. I broke down with her and she said, ‘It’s OK, mama. You’re going to be OK,'" she continued. "She’s showing up with me here today. And even though I don’t have my mom anymore, I have my daughters.”
