She also added a Harley Quinn-inspired makeup look at the 'Joker Folie à Deux' U.K. premiere.
Lady Gaga has no problem committing to a role. For example, she couldn’t shake her accent from House of Gucci, and remember when she and Bradley Cooper had the public convinced they were dating when promoting a Star Is Born?
Now, Gaga is leaning into her latest character, Harley Quinn, while also paying homage to one of her most iconic eras. During the U.K. premiere of her and Joaquin Phoenix's upcoming film Joker Folie à Deux. On Wednesday, September 25, Gaga arrived on the red carpet looking straight out of her "Bad Romance" music video in a crimson-colored Celine by Hedi Slimane gown with a voluminous and pleated asymmetric drop skirt and a matching cropped jacket with sculptural puff sleeves. A Tiffany & Co. diamond cuff bracelet, intricate earrings, and a Vigne ring accessorized the look, which she finished off with the Tiffany Bird on a Rock brooch pinned to her shawl.
When it came to glam, Gaga stayed on theme with a black-and-maroon blunt bob complete with shaggy forehead fringe, and added teal eyeshadow, winged liner, and a bedazzled, draw-on tear drop for her eye makeup. She completed the campy look with an orange-red lip and bleached brows.
While on the carpet, the singer and actress posed alongside her co-star Phoenix, who paired black trousers with a matching tie and silk bomber jacket.
She also brought her fiancé Michael Polansky to the event as her plus-one. The businessman wore a Celine Homme by Hedi Slimane suit, and the two shared some a moment of PDA in front of the flashing cameras.
On Tuesday, Gaga surprised little monsters everywhere by announcing a companion album to the movie, titled Harlequin, which will drop on September 27. And in case fans are wondering, LG7 is still set to hit the airwaves early next year, People notes. A billboard clarified that this upcoming movie album is LG6.5.
