It's every Y2K must-have in one 'fit.
It’s a little Mariah Carey in “Heartbreaker” and a little Sharpay Evans from High School Musical—but wearing a little crochet bikini top and over-the-top voluminous bubble skirt is 100 percent Kylie Jenner. The mother and reality star posted a new gallery on Instagram showing off an all-white outfit that was yacht-ready, party-ready, and made for the perfect ‘fit to wear while chasing a storm.
The quartet of photos (and a bonus video) showed the youngest Kardashian-Jenner sister wearing a textured white crochet halter top with a thicker band of knit around the neckline and thin straps. She paired it with a low-slung, larger-than-life skirt that turned up the volume and included a belt detail. An arm bangle in bold silver and dainty floral earrings finished the look and Jenner let her signature raven-colored hair blow in the sea breeze.
“Mother storm ⚡️⚡️🌩️,” she captioned the shots, which included a video clip of a lightning strike.
In a recent interview, Jenner opened up about being a mom and launching a new fashion line, calling her foray into clothes and accessories an energizing endeavor. For Jenner, juggling it all is just a normal day.
“I feel like I’ve been in full mommy mode in my early 20s, [so] just to do something more for me after I had my son…” she told British Vogue. “I’ve been way more into the fashion world and fashion week, and it’s been so much fun. I’m like, ‘Why didn’t I do this sooner?’ Every time I go to Paris, things just happen. I love the fast pace. It’s a whole new world.”
Opening up about how impossible it seems for her to keep her cool while the entire world watches her every move, she brushes it off, reminding everyone that she's been doing it since she was 9 years old, when she first appeared in Keeping Up With the Kardashians alongside her famous family.
“People ask me, ‘How do you deal with all this?’” she said. “I don’t remember a time before. I don’t really remember a time before there were the lights and the cameras.”
