The queen of a fash-un statement.
Julia Fox knows how to make an entrance and the 2025 Grammys red carpet was no exception. Fox arrived at Sunday’s show in a head-turning sheer number with a super unexpected accessory: kitchen gloves.
Fox posed on the red carpet in a black mesh top with an opaque bar over her chest and a matching miniskirt layered over stockings and a black G-string thong. On top, the actress wore a cropped leather jacket with puffy white cuffs and yellow latex gloves. Chunky black platform boots and a black mesh haircap finished off the look. Fox, who obviously knows her angles, showed off all sides of her look by turning around and posing for the flashing bulbs.
Her bleach-blonde hair was slicked back in a wet look, save for a few face-framing pieces. Her thick black liner was smoked out and drawn under her eyes to complement her bronze contour and lined brown lips.
Fox is no stranger to bold fashion moments. Just last month, she wore ice skates during a TV appearance. Well, technically they were boots from Dsquared2’s Fall/Winter 2011 collection, but they were convincingly realistic. She paired the winter wonderland footwear with white tights, hot pants, and a Chopova Lowena handbag with a Hellman’s mayonnaise jar detail.
She previously opened up about her fashion inspiration in an interview with Women's Wear Daily, crediting her mom's workout classes from the '90s. “When I grew up in Italy, clothes were always 10 years behind the United States. In the early ’90s, everyone was still dressing like it was the ’80s,” she recalled. “I would go to my mom’s workout classes, and all the girls were wearing leotards and leg warmers, so I went home and put on a one-piece bathing suit. I didn’t want to take it off.”
