If J.Lo says winter is over, it's over.
While the holidays may have only just ended, Jennifer Lopez is already dreaming of spring. And honestly, who can blame her?
After nailing après-ski style in Aspen, Colorado over the past few weeks—wearing everything from chunky sweaters to puffer coats—J.Lo is back in sunny California with a warm-weather wardrobe to match. Case in point? On Saturday, the singer-slash-actress arrived at Variety‘s Creative Impact Awards and 10 Directors to Watch brunch during the 2025 Palm Springs Film Festival in a sheer lavender dress that screamed spring.
The pastel-colored mini featured a tiny lilac halter dress underneath a flowing see-through outer- layer that included billowy sleeves that touched the ground and a high neckline. She accessorized with a pair of PVC heels and amethyst drop earrings. J.Lo's hair was worn in a half-up, half-down style and she complemented her signature glowing skin with shimmery purple eyeshadow and a pink glossy lip.
At the event, Lopez was honored with the Legend & Groundbreaker Award by her Maid in Manhattan costar Ralph Fiennes. She was also one of Variety's 10 Directors to Watch and Creative Impact Awards honorees for her role in Unstoppable, in which she plays wrestling champion Anthony Robles's mother, Judy.
Lopez previously said that she sees herself and Judy as “kindred spirits.” They’re both Latinas who grew up in the United States, both are moms, and most importantly, strong women. “Women are strong. We have to be,” she told Variety. “From the minute women are born, we’re always having to prove ourselves, to show we’re good enough. That creates a type of strength.”
