She channeled Glinda for dinner with her kids.
Jennifer Lopez was pretty in Glinda pink as she headed to a family dinner with her kids on Saturday night. Just hours after posing at the AFI Fest in a pink bubble skirt and matching sky-high platform Gucci heels to promote her Ben Affleck-produced film Unstoppable, the multi-hyphenate leaned back into the blush palette as she headed out in Los Angeles. For dinner at celeb hotspot Arden, Lopez swapped out her leg-baring red carpet look for a plunging light pink slip dress that shimmered as she moved.
Accompanied by her black-clad 16-year-old twins Emme and Max, as well her vocal coach Steve Mackey, the “On the Floor” singer upped the glam factor with a midi-length dress that looked straight out of Wicked. She appeared to have taken style inspiration from Glinda the Good Witch, thanks to the light pink dress’s structured plunging neckline made of tulle and sheer lace, as well as a shimmery pink pastel material that covered the entire bodice and drop waist design. The same iridescent fabric extended halfway down her skirt, allowing light pink ribbons and a slightly warmer salmon pink tulle to peek through at the bottom.
The Marry Me star leaned into the fairy tale aesthetic by pairing the gown with a powder blue Erdem collared trench coat that was embroidered with an intricate silver bead and sequin design along the shoulders and front. She styled the midi-length coat open to show off her dress underneath. Lopez paired the whimsical look with a pair of clear Paris Texas Lydia mules with silver soles, and held a matching light pink quilted leather clutch in her hand.
The star kept her same glowing glam look from earlier for dinner with her kids, showing off a golden blonde middle-parted blowout with soft curls at the bottom paired with a subtle smokey eyeshadow and glossy nude lips.
