Her Schiaparelli dress was most definitely a nod to 'The Substance.'
Fresh off her Golden Globes win, Demi Moore made her grand arrival at the 2025 Critics Choice Awards in a look that took the method-dressing trend to the next level. Moore—who is nominated for Best Actress for her role as Elisabeth Sparkle in The Substance—hit the red carpet in a dress from Schiaparelli‘s fall 2024 collection that included a clever nod to the film.
The strapless navy blue gown featured a sweetheart neckline embellished with black crystals in the front, while in the back, there was an exposed lace-up closure that resembled her character's gruesome stitches (if you know, you know). The bottom portion of her dress had a shredded silhouette that extended from her legs down to her ankles and stopped just before her pearl-accented heels.
Moore accessorized with Tiffany & Co. jewelry and scraped her dark brunette hair back into an elegant updo. Nude lips, peach-colored blush, and a subtle smoky eye completed her glam.
While it’s too early to tell if Moore will take home the Best Actress Award at tonight’s ceremony, she did win her first-ever Golden Globe at age 62 earlier this month. Truly stunned by her accomplishment, she delivered a heartfelt acceptance speech, telling the audience: “Oh wow. I really wasn’t expecting that. I’m just in shock right now. I’ve been doing this a long time, like, over 45 years, and this is the first time I’ve ever won anything as an actor. I’m just so humbled and so grateful.”
