The diamond of the season.
InStyle celebrated its 30th birthday yesterday with a star-studded party at the Standard Hotel’s BOOM. Stars such as singer-songwriter—and InStyle‘s most recent cover star—Reneé Rapp, Peloton’s Cody Rigsby, Coco Rocha, Gayle King, Nina Dobrev, and others filled the famed venue on Thursday night. One of the celebs to pose in front of the InStyle, Pandora, and Longchamp step-and-repeat was actress Brittany Snow, who looked ethereal in a white tulle mididress.
The Pitch Perfect star arrived on the carpet in a partially sheer white shin-length frock with see-through, off-the-shoulder sleeves, a surprise corseted midsection, and rhinestone embellishments scattered across the piece. She paired the bridal-and Bridgerton—inspired number with matching pointed-toe pumps and simple accessories that included diamond stud earrings and a matching ring.
Her blonde hair was styled in a sleek, middle-parted low bun and she kept her glam light and bright with fringed lashes, rosy cheeks, and a glossy lip. She was joined on the carpet by the fabulous September Letters co-founder Jaspre Guest, who wore a black blazer, pleated shorts over stockings, and matching booties.
Speaking with InStyle at the event, Snow recalled how her mindset changed when she celebrated the milestone of turning 30 years old.
"I feel like in my 30s, I switched over to that thing of I really didn't care that much," she explained. "I used to want everyone to like me and I think, in your 30s, you learn that you're never going to get everyone to like you."
The actress added that these days she feels her best—and most in style—"when I got a great pair of earrings on, when I've got on my sweats on, and I'm watching something really interesting, like a cool documentary and I'm cooking something very chic."
