Teen drama royalty ruled the Golden Globes red carpet.
When it comes to an Adam Brody and Leighton Meester red carpet appearance, it’s safe to say that everyone wants this. Brody and Meester, who developed cult followings playing Seth Cohen and Blair Waldorf in their respective teen dramas, brought a sweet O.C.–Gossip Girl crossover to the 2025 Golden Globes on Sunday, January 5.
Brody, who is nominated for his work in the Netflix hit series Nobody Wants This, pulled off a couple’s dressing moment as he coordinated with Meester in different shades of green. He leaned into a dapper forest green wool Prada tuxedo that was accented with black satin lapels, a double-beasted silhouette, and a matching bow tie.
Meester appeared to have gotten the Brat-style memo as well. Standing by her husband’s side, she brightened the Golden Globes red carpet in a neon highlighter-esque hue. The EXmas actress chose an elegant sleeveless lime green gown with a cowl neckline and artfully draped silhouette. Meester paired the gown with a multi-watt diamond necklace, winged diamond earrings, and an elegant copper-red updo with face-framing bangs parted in the middle.
The couple took their first red carpet interview together ahead of Sunday’s show, where Brody was nominated for his first-ever Golden Globe in the“Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series” category.
Both Meester and Brody stayed mum on their next acting project together when asked on the red carpet, but the former teen heartthrobs previously opened up about how much they enjoyed working together in the 2023 Netflix thriller River Wild.
Meester later revealed to Interview magazine that the dynamic was “less” challenging than she’d expected for the sweetest reason. “You are the person I want to work with all the time. You’re my best friend and the best acting partner that I could ever hope for. It was very familiar, so I felt very safe and comfortable to be doing all those pretty intense scenes,” she told Brody.
