Taylor Swift is taking a page from Travis Kelce’s style book. The couple has been sartorially in sync during their whirlwind New York City weekend, the “Down Bad” singer opting for her go-to “very demure” designs and girl-next-door aesthetic while her football player boyfriend has been leaning into the designer labels, (see: his red-and-green Gucci bucket hat during their loved-up U.S. Open appearance). On Sunday night, however, Swift appeared to take on the Kansas City Chiefs player’s love of logomania in a bold monogrammed Gucci minidress.
Holding hands with her tight-end beau, the pop star wore a sleeveless light brown minidress covered in the brand's famed logo print with caramel leather piping around the neckline and pockets in the front. She also got her accessories from the iconic Italian fashion brand, choosing a black horsebit leather bag, as well as a pair of coordinating peep-toe heels adorned with matching hardware. Later, the star was seen warming up with a complementary cozy brown trench coat.
Swift kept her jewelry simple with a pair of gold hoop earrings, a bracelet, rings, and a pendant necklace. While her designer threads were a little more flashy than her typical street style look, Swift stayed true to her go-to beauty look. Wavy blonde hair, a sharp cat eye, and glossy cherry lipstick added the finishing touches to the star’s late summer outfit.
After wearing a Gucci bucket hat, collared shirt, and cardigan to watch the U.S. Open just hours earlier, Kelce also donned head-turning patterns for their night out on the town with Patrick and Brittany Mahomes. He stepped out in a white knit shirt with black zig-zag stripes, matching slacks, and suede and leather loafers. He swapped out his bucket hat for a sportier baseball cap. The athlete is known for his distinctly confident, sometimes campy style (and his love of designer labels), so it’s no surprise Swift is also experimenting with her fashion choices.
