On Tuesday, the star stepped out in a striking gown and a gorgeous dewy complexion with a simple eye and lip.
Anderson arrived at the Glamour Women of the Year awards in a mint green column gown with a sheer bedazzled neckline that extended over her shoulders before turning into a floor-grazing cape. Because of the dress's opulence, Anderson kept the rest of her accessories simple with diamond studs and a ring, and finished off the look with light beige patent leather, pointed-toe pumps.
Anderson looked fresh and bright with a light foundation paired with barely-there blush, sun-kissed bronzer, a coral eye, and a subtle pink lip. Her famous blonde hair was styled in a side-parted blowout.
Anderson recently opened up about her decision to embrace her bare face, saying she just preferred how she looked with makeup in her 20s to now. “I’ve just done it and I’ve played with it,” she told Glamour. “I’ve nothing against makeup, but I felt like it just looked better on me in my 20s than it did now.”
She explained that as she's gotten older, she has wanted to avoid the trope of chasing youth. “You’re going to hit a crossroads in your 50s, and you go, 'Am I going to chase youth? Am I going to be miserable? Or am I going to be self-accepting?'" she continued. "And it’s a practice. And it’s hard to say that you’re attempting all this if you’re still doing the red carpets and the covers of magazines plastered in makeup.”
