It's the couple's first public appearance since losing their home to the L.A. fires.
Tonight should’ve been about Adam Brody and his Best Actor nomination for his role in Nobody Wants This at the 2025 Critics Choice Awards, but all eyes were on his wife, Leighton Meester, who shut down the red carpet in a sheer shimmering gown.
Arriving at the award ceremony for a rare couple's appearance alongside Brody, Meester opted for a corseted champagne-colored gown that had sheer panels of fabric around the waist and flowed into a pleated tulle skirt covered in sequins. As if her dress wasn't sparkly enough, the Gossip Girl star added even more bling with a giant diamond necklace and a pair of diamond stud earrings. She pulled her copper hair back into a sleek bun with baby bangs and finished off her glam with a nude glossy lip and terracotta blush.
Brody, for his part, kept his look simple, wearing a classic black suit with a button-up shirt and no tie.
Meester and Brody’s latest date night comes just a month after the couple lost their family home in the Pacific Palisades wildfires in Los Angeles. According to Architectural Digest, the pair purchased the five-bedroom, six-bathroom property for $6.5 million in 2019—five years after getting married.
In addition to Meester and Brody, other stars—including Anna Faris, Ricki Lake, Paris Hilton, and Mandy Moore—also had their homes destroyed by the L.A. fires.
