The final days of summer are upon us and it seems like Heidi Klum is out there enjoying every last second of it.
The model took to her Instagram stories today to share a few moments from her laid back weekend. She spent some time watching soccer in bed with her husband, Tom Kaulitz, and their dogs before heading outside to soak up the sun by the pool. She wore a glittery nude bikini covered in sparkly studs, which she paired with a jungle print cover up. Her dramatic bright red talon mani and her oversized sunglasses added an extra touch of glamour to the look.
This is far from the first time Klum has made the case for going all out with swimwear. Earlier this month, she hit the beach in an of itty bitty thong bikini, which she wore without any top at all. She also recently wore a crocheted pink bikini top that showcased a ton of underboob. Then there was this teeny tiny pastel number and this strappy cheetah print number. And when Klum turned 51 earlier this summer, she went sans bikini top altogether, posing topless by the pool.
As Klum revealed in an appearance this year on the Call Her Daddy podcast, she actually prefers to be topless because she just doesn’t “love tan lines.”
"I mean, I try to be like that with my kids. Obviously, when you know, no one is there," she said. "I’m in my garden also, you know, I’m topless. And they will come, like, ‘You know, my friend is coming over, mom, put your top on.’ And I’m like, ‘When have I ever not had a top on when your friend was coming over? Of course, I will.’"
Whether she’s sporting a skimpy bikini or going without any top at all, it’s evident that for Klum, age is no reason to tone down her bold style. As she told Glamour Germany this year, “Yes, I’m 50, but I’m far from dead. I just love colorful, loud things. Maybe that will change at some point, but that remains my decision.”
