An accessory can speak a thousand words.
From graphic tees to engagement rings, fashion can sometimes make more of a statement than words. Just ask Hailey Bieber, who let her latest outfit do the talking for her amid rumors that she and husband, Justin Bieber, are headed toward divorce.
On Wednesday, the model shut down any speculation of trouble in her marriage while sporting a new handbag on her Instagram Story. In the photo, Hailey snapped a mirror selfie, which showed her wearing a black bomber jacket, dark pants, glasses, and a giant tote bag that had "Mrs. Bieber" embroidered in green letters across the front. Her oval engagement ring was also on full display and she finished off her look with minimal makeup and long, loose waves.
The state of Hailey and Justin’s marriage came into question earlier this week after fans noticed that the singer unfollowed his wife on Instagram. He quickly addressed the controversy in a now-deleted post, writing: “Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife. Shit is getting suss out here.” Later that same day, Hailey shared a carousel of photos from what appeared to be the couple’s recent trip to Aspen, and it included one of Justin sleeping while seemingly seated at a restaurant.
Hailey and Justin first started dating in 2015 before calling it quits one year later. They rekindled their romance in 2018, with the two getting engaged and marrying at a New York City courthouse within months of getting back together.
But despite recently celebrating their sixth wedding anniversary and welcoming their first child together, a son named Jack Blues, the pair constantly finds themselves the subject of breakup rumors. However, according to a source at People, they don’t let what other people say affect their relationship.
“They laugh at the constant divorce rumors,” an insider previously told the outlet, adding, “It’s annoying but just noise.” Meanwhile, another source at Us Weekly revealed that having a child has only strengthened their relationship. “There has been a total shift in their marriage since renewing their vows [in May 2024] and welcoming baby Jack,” they shared. “He’s truly brought them so much happiness and a renewed bond.”
