She remixed black-tie footwear for a street style moment.
It’s no secret that Demi Moore loves a good menswear style moment. The Ghost alum has sartorially borrowed from the boys on multiple occasions, whether going full finance bro power suit on the red carpet or pairing office-ready blazers with more casual pieces. On October 14, Moore paired her monochromatic outfit with an unexpected dress shoe inspired by black-tie occasion-wear at the 2024 Hamptons International Film Festival.
The star, who’s been busy serving looks on the film fest circuit to promote her latest film, The Substance, gave menswear footwear a spin while stepping out with her go-to furry red carpet companion, Pilaf. Holding the tiny Chihuahua in one arm, Moore modeled a pair of lace-up black leather Oxford dress shoes with a wingtip design. She paired the shoes with a black pleated taffeta tea-length flared skirt that hit just below her knees, a simple crew-neck T-shirt, and an unbuttoned black knit cardigan that added a subtle pop of color to her otherwise all-black ensemble. The jacket, which was studded with tiny buttons on the sleeves, featured a bold red, blue, and white striped trim.
The Indecent Proposal actress paired her fall streetwear staples with some of her signature accessories. Moore, who wore her black hair in her go-to sleek, middle-parted style, added a pair of oversized glasses with wire rims and a boxy black handbag.
Just one day earlier, she leaned into a prep school aesthetic as she received the Career Achievement in Acting Award at the film festival. While attending the Chairman's Reception on October 13, Moore had a head-to-toe plaid moment, thanks to a skirt suit in a matching dark gray and black checkered pattern.
The pleated miniskirt paired with black leather pointy-toed heels might have been more Gossip Girl, but the actress veered into boardroom territory with the padded shoulders of the blazer as well as one of her new favorite pairings: A crisp button-up shirt accessorized with a skinny tie. Moore, who held Pilaf in her arms while posing on the red carpet, leaned into a fall color palette for her beauty look, accentuating her features with a subtle smokey eyeshadow and a deep berry lipstick.
