The 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show got a major dose of star power when the lingerie brand announced that Cher would be gracing the stage (adding just one more icon to the long list of names that have performed at the show, including Rihanna, Ariana Grande, and Justin Timberlake). Of course, being just as much a fashion icon as a musical one, Cher arrived dressed to impress, wearing her own unique take on lingerie dressing.
Stepping onto the pink carpet, Cher wore a see-through sparkly mesh top that showed off her black lacy bra underneath and was tucked into the most controversial pants imaginable. Sporting a pair of baggy leather parachute pants with zippers at the hem and patchwork pieces in gray, black, and purple, the singer accessorized with three black grommet belts and matching black boots.
She topped off her outfit with a structured black blazer and diamond jewelry, while her glam embraced the theme of the night with pink eyeshadow, rosy cheeks, and glossy pink lips.
Cher’s appearance at the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion show comes ahead of the release of her memoir, aptly titled Cher: The Memoir, Part One. The book is set to hit shelves on November 19. The second part is scheduled to arrive in 2025, according to Billboard.
2024 marks the first time that Victoria's Secret has presented its designs on the runway since 2018. After a bit of controversy and then a documentary-slash-fashion show in 2023, the brand announced that it would be returning to its runway roots with this year's Prime Video spectacular.
Cher joins Tyla and Blackpink’s Lisa (full name Lalisa Manoban) for this year’s all-female lineup of performers, marking a historic moment for the show.

We’re beyond excited to announce she will officially be performing at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2024. But she won’t be alone…stay tuned, more announcements are coming to round out our first-ever, all-women lineup. #VSFashionShow,” Victoria’s Secret shared on Instagram on September 17.
In addition to its all-female lineup of singers, the brand promised a more inclusive and modern take on its traditional show.
